Authors note: Here it goes fast ^^ Pretty much conversation in this chapter too~
*Guest in this chapter: Vanness Wu*
After school ended Aiba walked with the guys into town. There they met up with the bassist Heath, drummer Izumi, guitarrist's Shin and Akiya and the singer Isshi. Aiba became friends with them all very fast. But they were all feared by other students. As fast as they passed by it got quiet or the other youths backed away. They didn't do anything against these people; they just walked.
But as they kept walking, Aiba noticed how they went south. His parents had told him to don't go there or at least avoid the bad places in the downtown. When they got to an alley Ohno and Yamapi stopped and turned around to Aiba with serious looks upon their faces.
- Here goes the border between our hood and the downtown, Ohno explained.
- If you pass, people in school will think you're with us and soon change attitude against you, Yamapi continued.
- To them, we have the same value as trash, Heath said and looked at Aiba with those really dark and deep eyes.
- This is a choice of yours'. If you choose to come with us, prepare to get to hear very much gossipping and rumours from the riches', rumors that will be untrue and about YOU, Yoshiki said.
- They may even hit you and kick your ass, since you're not a friend of Suya-chan, Jin told.
- So really think before you make this one choice, Shin ended. Aiba looked at all their serious faces and then down on the ground. He thought of it. Did they try to scare him away? Try to get rid of him? No... That couldn't be it... Or?
- If I'd go with you, would you help me if I got into trouble and someone would try to hurt me? Aiba asked. All the guys first got shocked, since no one else had ever even thought of going with them, when getting to know such things could happen.
But then they all nodded and told him 'yes'. Aiba then decided to go with them. He didn't want to be with some snobby rich people and not with boring normals either.
Not anymore. Something he'd really cherish was some real friends.
Later on he was backstage with the guys. He looked at all these things and the guys. Some were preparing the instruments, went through schedule, memorized songs, changed clothes... One thing he was pretty amazed by was the hair and make-up. He had never experienced guys, doing each others' extreme make-up, not fixing each others' crazed hair either. Not that much at least...
Then he noticed a bass guitar hanging alone on a wall. Aiba walked there and took a closer look on the bass.
- Nice, huh? a voice said. Aiba turned his head to see Hidari standing there. Her hair was also in a overcrazed style now.
- Yes. Whose is it?
- It's Naos'. He couldn't play today, that's why it's hanging there, she explained somewhat sad. Do you play anything? she continued.
- Uh, no, Aiba answered. He saw how a man came into the room and started to talk to the whirlhair girl that probably was that Suya-chan, singer Isshi and the drummer Yoshiki. Hidari saw where he looked and whispered that that was this clubs' new owner, Vanness Wu. She then started talking about Four Pieces, Kagrra and Mezurashii* which all together were called "Hidoi kurai**". The girls were in FP, Isshi, Nao, Shin, Akiya and Izumi were in Kagrra and the rest in Mezurashii.
- Hidari, go and change so the poor boy can rest his by now overworked ears. Aiba and Hidari turned around again to see none other than Suya standing there with a left handed electric guitar hanging from her shoulders. Hidari sighed, rolled her eyes and walked off.
- So, you're the new guy, ne? I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself before, I'm Tatsuya Yayoi.
- Masaki Aiba.
- You don't play any instruments, ne? Suya asked.
- No... How did you know?
- I just do. Where did you go before you got to our little shit-school?
- Well... I don't want to talk about that, Aiba mumbled.
- Okay, Suya said. I understand. The past is the past, right?
- Yes, luckily. Aiba glanced a little at Suya. They had moved to a window, seeing out over the club and a stage with lots of chairs and tables in front of it. Suya seemed to be in another world.
- You can stand on the side of the stage while we perform. So you'll see something I mean, Suya said. But don't go out in the audience and don't leave this place without any of us. Understood? Aiba nodded and felt like a little child when Suya spoke like that. Her eyes made him feel very small.
- Let's go and practice, people! Yei yelled out.
